Marta Martino is a multifaceted creative talent whose work sits on the border between art, design and fashion. Based in Veneto, she has worked with names such as the Antwerp Six, Max Mara and New York Industrie, and is currently creative director of the prestigious jewellery brand Peruffo.
Since 2016, she has worked on costume design and fashion direction projects in the musical and artistic scene, collaborating with performers such as Esmay Wagemans, Emma Waltraud Howes, Zachary Tye Richardson, Ligia Lewis, Justin Kennedy and Isabelle Wenzel.
Her personal work has focused on the visual arts through painting, performance and sculpture. Martino aims to make her work undefinable, preferring it to remain open to interpretation and rooted in the exploration of shifting identities.
Many of her works play with the body, reality and potential, repeatedly using basic elements pushed to the extreme. In 2022, Martino moved part of her studio to Brighton in the United Kingdom.
